Weekly Journal

Week one of this online class has been a whirlwind of computer set up issues. As a 'mac' person from day one, just getting use to a pc is part of my learning curve, although VISTA has a very mac friendly feel. Fortunately, since I am FT at Santa Barbara City College, I have Ryan Alexander to help me as he is, I believe, our behind the scenes tech support for this course. At any rate, he has ironed out all my computer problems. Jim has also fielded some very basic, and probably annoying, questions from me with his usual halcyon charm. Thank you Jim.
